Vibration Aging Mechanism
The essence of vibration aging is to apply dynamic stress to workpieces through vibration. When the dynamic stress overlaps with the residual stress of the workpiece, and reaches or exceeds the micro yield limit of the material, the workpiece will undergo micro or macro localized or overall elastic-plastic deformation. Simultaneously, it reduces and equalizes the internal residual stress of the workpiece, ultimately preventing deformation and cracking of the workpiece and stabilizing its dimensions and geometric accuracy.
