详情描述
Instrument Overview
High-pressure visual DSC features a unique new design, enabling data collection under high pressure, high temperature, and reactive gas conditions while allowing real-time monitoring of the sample's changes through a visual system. High-precision pressure control and accurate gas flow control provide better service for users in areas such as material composition analysis, process optimization, and quality control.
Instrument Application
Primarily measures physical and chemical changes related to heat, such as glass transition temperature, melting point, melting temperature, crystallization and crystallization heat, phase transition reaction heat, product thermal stability, curing/crosslinking, oxidation induction period, etc.
Brief Description of Instrument Core Technology
Reactive Summary
Samples undergo chemical reactions under isothermal controlled-temperature and high-pressure conditions, involving the introduction of raw gas and pressurizing auxiliary gas, as well as thermal pressure increase due to gas expansion and pressure relief of the generated gas.
Technical Background
In traditional thermal analysis instruments, due to the stepped transmission of gases, a pressure difference is formed within the reaction tube, making it difficult to maintain a constant pressure and flow rate of the reaction environment. This is particularly true when frost forms below freezing and the temperature is raised, which produces steam that causes significant fluctuations in the DSC baseline of the sample.
Solution
Equipped with cutting-edge microelectronics control technology, adjustable defrosting control units, and high-precision controllable voltage regulation, we have broken through this global technological bottleneck, achieving gas dynamic equilibrium under stable pressure—specifically, the dynamic equilibrium of pressure within the reactor chamber. The addition of a defrosting system ensures no DSC signal oscillation, guaranteeing a stable DSC baseline without fluctuations.
Instrument Features
Features microphotography function with PDSC.
Experiments under various atmospheres, such as N2, Ar, He, can be conducted under high pressure.
The built-in pressure gauge displays the actual pressure within the test unit.
External pressure and flow controller, accurately controlling pressure under both static and dynamic programmed atmospheres.
Optical observation of samples heated or cooled in the DSC can be performed, simultaneously recording any changes in the samples due to relaxation, melting, or reaction processes.
Microscope System
The high-pressure DSC and CCD electron microscope system integrates the ability to optically observe samples during heating or cooling in the DSC. This optical information allows for precise interpretation of phenomena measured in the DSC curves. The CCD electron microscope system cleverly utilizes the principle of image refraction, effectively mitigating the impact of temperature on the images.
