The Application and Main Structure of the Universal Rolling Mill

The Universal Three-Roll Plate Bending Machine, also known as the Upper Roll Universal Three-Roll Plate Bending Machine, is a versatile piece of equipment that bends metal sheets into cylindrical, arched, or other shaped workpieces. Virtually all cylindrical steel shapes are formed using plate bending machines. The specific structure of the upper rolling universal three-roller bending machine is explained as follows:
Roller Unit
The upper roller assembly is primarily composed of the main oil cylinder, upper roller bearing base, upper roller, and double-row spherical roller bearings. The upper roller is a critical component of the rolling mill. The shaft journals at both ends of the upper roller are fitted with a special wide-type double-row spherical roller bearing series for rolling mill applications. Due to the use of spherical roller bearings, it facilitates the inclination of the main roller and makes it easier to form cones. The two main oil cylinders provide the necessary pressure for rolling the sheet material.
(2) Horizontal Moving Device
The horizontal moving device is powered by a moving motor, which drives the horizontal movement of the upper roller unit through a reducer, worm and worm gear, and screw nut mechanism, achieving asymmetric rolling of the sheet material.
Roller Assembly
The lower roller assembly consists of the lower roller, bearing housing, input gear, sliding bearing, etc. The lower roller is a crucial component of the coil slitting machine, suitable for operations under normal temperature conditions and at low speeds with heavy loads.
Roller Assembly
The roller assembly consists of rollers, a wedge mechanism, and roller adjustment handwheels. There is a set of rollers, which are adjusted up and down according to the load size of the rolled sheet specifications.

Composed of the main motor, electro-hydraulic pushrod brake, cylindrical gear reducer, and output gears.
(6) Inclination Device
The tipping device consists of a sliding cushion and a tilting hydraulic cylinder. Installed on one side of the tilting frame, it is used for the tilting and recovery of the frame. The tilting mechanism facilitates the removal of products along the axial direction of the roller.
