Part Two: Project Background
DF Automotive Parts (Group) Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, specializing in the production of automotive parts and casting tools for vehicle manufacturing. As a publicly listed company, it places great importance on environmental cleanliness and safety. The machining waste, which consists of a large amount of emulsified liquid, can cause pollution in the workshop environment, and improper storage can contaminate soil and water sources, affecting environmental safety.
Waste aluminum shavings from machining operations come in granular and ring-shaped thin sheets, containing approximately 15% of emulsion. During transportation and storage, waste liquid may leak out, polluting the workshop environment. Additionally, the scattered aluminum shavings occupy a large area, while storage space is limited, necessitating a reduction in volume and weight. Aluminum shavings containing waste liquid are classified as hazardous waste. Failure to dispose of them properly subjects the company to inspection pressures and risks fines.
Therefore, the company requires an aluminum chip briquetting machine to address the pollution issue caused by oil-containing aluminum chips and to enhance the workshop environment.

Part Three: Customer Requirements
In response to the substantial aluminum shavings produced and the residual emulsion left in the waste materials, the client has outlined nine requirements:
The workshop space is limited, with dimensions not exceeding 3.3*5.2 meters, offering customized solutions.
2. The aluminum chip processing capacity is ≥70kg per hour, with the cake diameter φ150mm or less, and the weight of each piece not exceeding 3kg.
3. The compressed blocks reduce volume, are less prone to dislodging, and are convenient for stacking and transportation.
4. Separate the emulsified liquid from the aluminum shavings and collect them centrally.
5. The aluminum chip briquetting machine can achieve automatic feeding, automatic processing, automatic discharging, and recycling of processing medium.
6. The system is capable of automatically sorting or crushing aluminum shavings that are in the form of rings or thin sheets.
7. Suppliers must install water and oil collection devices at areas with potential leakage risks, and prohibit the flow of cutting mediums, lubricants, and other oils to the ground.
8. The processing of aluminum chips should be automated, allowing the配套 production line to be operated by only 1-2 people, thereby reducing labor costs.
9. Focus on equipment quality, component brands, and warranty standards to ensure long-term stable operation and reduce subsequent maintenance costs.

Part IV: Solutions
After multiple communications and on-site inspections with the client, we understood their objectives and recommended an entire aluminum chip processing solution, including an overhead feeding hoist, MSA-F600 crushing machine, two chain conveyors, a centralized feeding silo, BM-1090 briquetting machine, and屑液 purification and collection box.
Firstly, a customized layout scheme for the site addressed the issue of space limitations; the production line is equipped with an automatic feeding and storage system for materials, capable of automatically handling aluminum shavings in a timed and quantitative manner, achieving a fully automated operation from feeding to briquetting. It is also accompanied by a single-axis crusher to solve the problem of ring-shaped and thin-shelled aluminum shavings in the waste material. The entire processing line is designed with an integrated seal, complemented by four liquid collection devices, ensuring that there is no leakage of waste liquids or aluminum shavings during the production process. The oil content of the briquettes is below 5%, and they do not leak upon standing, guaranteeing a clean production environment and passing environmental inspections. The recycling price of aluminum briquettes is 3,000 yuan per ton higher than that of aluminum shavings, generating additional recycling revenue.
