Part Two: Project Background

AG Group is a state-owned large enterprise directly managed by the central government, the first large-scale steel complex to be restored and rebuilt in the new China, and the earliest-established steel production base. The company specializes in the production and manufacturing of steel, iron, vanadium, titanium, stainless steel, special steel, as well as non-ferrous metal production and manufacturing.

The company's workshop houses over 30 machine tools, which generate a substantial amount of iron shavings during the machining process. The accumulated volume is excessive, necessitating the urgent purchase of an iron shavings briquette press to reduce the space occupied. Additionally, the cutting oil from the waste shavings needs to be separated and collected.

Part Three: Customer Requirements

Equipment Requirements: 1. Meet the daily processing needs of over 30 machine tools for chip disposal; 2. Reduce the chip footprint for easier stacking and transportation; 3. Ensure compressed iron cakes do not disintegrate and have no oil leakage when stationary, meeting environmental standards; 4. Separate cutting oil from the chips and collect it centrally; 5. Achieve automation in chip processing, allowing the production line to be operated by just 1-2 people, reducing labor costs; 6. Design a reasonable layout plan based on the workshop area.

Part IV: Solutions

After several communications and on-site inspections with the client, we understood their objectives and recommended a comprehensive iron chip handling solution, which includes an AGV Cart, a Material Feeding Hoist, a BM-1090 Iron Chip Press, a Centralized Material Supply Storage, an Output Conveying Machine, and a Chip Liquid Purification and Collection Box.

After confirming the requirements with the client, we received samples sent to our company for free material testing. The production line is equipped with AGV carts for automatic feeding, hoists for automatic material loading, and storage for materials, enabling automated and timed dosing of iron shavings. This achieves full automation from feeding to panning. The processed iron shavings panning reduces the space required in the workshop. The entire processing line features a sealed design and comes with three liquid collection devices, ensuring no waste liquid or iron shavings leak during the production process. The panned pieces have an oil content of 5% or less, are free of drips when left standing, and guarantee a clean production environment and pass environmental inspections.

Shavings, when compressed, can squeeze out cutting oil, with the cake's oil content below 5%. It remains leak-proof when stationary, while the cutting lubricant is collected centrally for secondary use.

3. Economic Returns

The recovered price of iron屑 pressed into cakes is approximately 800 yuan/ton higher than the price for iron屑 in fragments, boosting the enterprise's recycling profits.
