Part Two: Project Background

Wuxi YJ Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. is a machining enterprise specializing in the manufacturing, processing, and sales of precision machinery equipment and metal products. One of the challenges it faces in the production process is how to handle the large amount of granular aluminum chips containing cutting oil that are generated daily. These chips not only occupy a significant amount of space, wasting resources, but also, due to their loose and oily nature, make transportation and storage particularly difficult.

Therefore, there is an urgent need to purchase an aluminum chip baling machine to reduce the occupied area, while separating and collecting the cutting oil from the waste chips.

Part Three: Customer Needs

In response to the issues of extensive area occupied by aluminum chips and oil leakage at will from cutting oil, the customer has made the following requests:

Factory downsizing

Compressing loose aluminum shavings into compact blocks, significantly reducing the volume of the pile.

(2) The finished products are of stable quality, uniform specifications, tightly packed without shedding, and convenient for storage and transportation.

2. Waste Liquid Collection

Efficiently separate aluminum chips from cutting oil to prevent the secondary contamination of the workshop environment by oil-containing chips.

(2) Offer equipment for collecting chip oil to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the workshop.

(3) The collected oils can be processed and reused, thereby reducing production costs.

3. Automated Operations

The pit design is equipped with an automatic feeding conveyor, achieving continuous feeding.

(2) From conveying to compression and shaping, the entire process is fully automated, requiring no human intervention.

4. Cost Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement

Aluminum shavings are compacted tightly, uniform in specification, convenient for storage and transportation, and reduce transportation costs.

(2) Focus on equipment quality, component brands, and warranty standards to ensure long-term stable operation and reduce subsequent maintenance costs.

Part IV: Solutions

After numerous communications and on-site inspections with the client, we recommended the following design plan:

1. Recommend two AMB-H1075-250 hopper-style metal briquetting presses capable of handling 500 kg/h each.

2. Configure the hopper feeding conveyor and block conveying machine.

3. Equipped with high-temperature and oil deficiency alarm systems.

4. Due to space limitations on our site, our technicians conducted several on-site measurements and designs. After considering factors such as equipment dimensions, production capacity, space layout, and safety requirements, we customized a dedicated layout plan that maximizes space utilization while meeting production needs.
