A manual image projector is a precise optical image measuring instrument. Below is a detailed introduction to it:

I. Basic Composition

The manual image intensifier is primarily composed of a marble base, an XY-axis worktable, and a Z-axis focusing system in terms of structure. Functionally, it is divided into mechanical, electrical, and software parts. The electrical part mainly refers to the CCD industrial camera device, which transmits the image of the measured object to the computer for measurement. The software part usually includes image, graphics, element, data, and coordinate areas, etc., for the implementation of specific measurement functions.

Section II: Working Principle

The manual imaging instrument magnifies the measured object through a zoom objective lens, then inputs the magnified image into the computer via a CCD industrial camera setup. The measurement software processes and measures the image, yielding the geometric measurement data of the measured object.

  1. Easy to Learn and Use: No complex programming is required, allowing operators to quickly master the manual imaging device, simplifying the training process.

  4. Protecting Workpiece Surfaces: Non-contact measurement methods are employed to prevent potential damage to the workpiece surface, particularly suitable for measuring soft or fragile materials.

  5. High-definition Imaging: The image acquisition device, composed of a zoom objective lens and a high-resolution color camera, can magnify and transmit the workpiece image to a computer, assisting the operator in observing the details of the tested object more clearly.

  6. Measurement: Operators can directly observe and locate measurement points through the manual control of the measurement platform, which is beneficial for measuring individual products.

Section 4: Operation Method

  1. Power On: First, turn on the instrument's power and the computer's power, then warm up for about 10 minutes before opening the measurement software.

  2. Measurement: Proficient in operating the XYZ axis with three rotation handles and two light source dials (surface and bottom light). Select element measurement or composite construction based on measurement requirements, as well as surface or contour measurement methods. Generally, contour measurement utilizes automatic edge detection for quick measurement, while surface measurement often requires manual measurement due to unclear contour boundaries.

  3. Shut down: First close the software after saving useful data, then turn off the instrument light source, followed by the instrument's power and the computer's power.
