The tube-type screw conveyor, also known as a auger, is a material handling device that rotates through the spiral without a central shaft. It can transport materials that traditional shaft-type screw conveyors and belt conveyors cannot or are difficult to handle, such as granular and powdered materials, wet and paste-like substances, semi-liquids and sticky materials, materials prone to entanglement and clogging, and materials with special sanitation requirements for the shaftless spiral conveyor.
