Structure and Working Principle:

The XLCS Type Vortex Sedimentation and Cleaning Machine is composed of a impeller, drive shaft, motor, reducer, and sand suction system. Due to the upward inclination of the impeller blades, the rotation creates a spiral movement in the wastewater within the pond. Combined with the tangential entry of wastewater, a vortex that aligns with the impeller's rotation is formed, leading to a helical vortex flow in the pond. Under appropriate blade inclination and linear velocity conditions, sand particles in the wastewater are washed while maintaining optimal sedimentation efficiency. Organic matter and substances with low density that were originally attached to the sand particles are discharged along with the wastewater from the vortex pond. Additionally, due to the rotation of the impeller, it reduces the sensitivity of the vortex pond to flow state changes caused by variations in water inflow, ensuring stable sedimentation with low organic component content in the sand discharged.
