Application:
Used in wastewater treatment plant sedimentation tanks to separate sand and water mixture discharged from the sedimentation tank.
Features:
This product has been improved after integrating the usage situations of similar products domestically and internationally, addressing the issues of inconvenient strip replacement and the inability to adjust the spiral axial position. Its features are as follows:
1. Separation efficiency up to 96%~98%, capable of separating particles with a size of ≥0.2mm.
2. Features shaftless helical design, water-free bearings, and easy maintenance.
3 Compact structure, lightweight.
4. New transmission device, featuring a key component - the reducer, which is an advanced shaft-mounted type, requiring no couplings, and is easy to align during installation.
5 Straps are quick-release, easy to replace.
6 The spiral axis position is adjustable, facilitating the adjustment of the safe gap between the tail and the box wall.
Construction and Operation Process:
The spiral sand-water separator consists of a shaftless spiral, liner strips, U-shaped channels, a water tank, guide plates, an overflow weir, and a driving unit. The sand-water mixture is introduced into the water tank from the top of one end of the separator. The heavier components, such as sand particles, settle at the bottom of the channel. Under the push of the spiral, the sand particles are lifted along the inclined bottom of the channel. After leaving the liquid surface, they continue to move a certain distance until they are sufficiently dehydrated and then discharged into a sand container through the sand outlet. The water separated from the sand is discharged through the overflow weir and sent to the factory's water intake pool.
