Nitrogen Generator Activated Carbon Introduction
A nitrogen generator is a device that uses air as raw material and separates oxygen and nitrogen from it through physical methods to obtain nitrogen gas. Depending on the classification method, such as deep cryogenic air separation, molecular sieve air separation (PSA), and membrane air separation, industrial nitrogen generators can be divided into three types. Nitrogen generators use imported carbon molecular sieve (CMS) as an adsorbent and adopt the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) principle at room temperature to separate air and produce high-purity nitrogen gas. Typically, two adsorption towers are connected in parallel, controlled by an imported PLC to automatically operate the pneumatic valves, alternating between pressure adsorption and pressure release regeneration to complete nitrogen-oxygen separation and obtain the required high-purity nitrogen gas.
