Waterproof Honeycomb Activated CarbonIntroduction
Waterproof honeycomb activated carbonIt is a derivative of activated carbon products, serving as an alternative to cylindrical activated carbon and granular activated carbon, which face excessive wind resistance and low porosity in waste gas treatment towers, leading to inefficient exhaust air flow.
Honeycomb activated carbon is primarily used in high airflow, low concentration environments. As both activated carbon and honeycomb activated carbon are currently classified as hazardous waste, their disposal is麻烦 and costly. Many users are increasingly adopting desorption catalytic combustion technology. In this process, activated carbon that has reached adsorption saturation is often desorbed using hot air or steam. Due to the uncertainty of the substances adsorbed by activated carbon, fires can occur during the desorption process. If a fire occurs, water spraying must be conducted. In such cases, if non-waterproof honeycomb activated carbon is used, it may collapse, and upon contact with water, it will quickly turn into a muddy mass, making it difficult to reuse.
Our company producesWaterproof honeycomb activated carbonOur waterproof honeycomb activated carbon is free from the aforementioned issues, as it is produced using high-quality ultra-fine powder coal-based activated carbon and coconut shell activated carbon as raw materials. The raw materials are mixed with binder, kneaded, and aged before being extruded and cut through specially designed honeycomb metal molds. The non-waterproof honeycomb activated carbon is formed through natural drying, while the waterproof honeycomb activated carbon is activated by a secondary calcination at 500-600°C after drying. In the catalytic combustion process, this product can be repeatedly desorbed, featuring a long service life.
