The鹤管dedicated anti-drool valve, also known as a breakaway valve or emergency release coupling (ERC), is a safety device used in petrochemical loading and unloading operations to address unexpected tank truck movement and pipeline pulling. Its core function is to automatically disconnect and seal in both directions when the pipeline connection to the tank truck exceeds the rated tension, preventing medium leakage and safeguarding the pipeline equipment. It is a standard safety component for bottom loading pipeline, dry coupling, aviation fuel/low-temperature medium loading and unloading operations. It is compatible with top/bottom, ambient/low-temperature/corrosion-resistant pipeline applications and complies with the safety specifications for leak-free loading and unloading in the petrochemical industry.
Anti-drip valves integrate three core functions: pull force sensing, automatic disconnection, and bidirectional sealing. They are available in two types: integrated (with dry joints/quick couplings) and split (mounted separately on crane boom sections). Triggered by mechanical pull break (mainstream) or hydraulic/pneumatic cutting, all are high-pressure sealed structures. There is no medium leakage after disconnection, which not only protects loading and unloading equipment but also prevents fire and explosion and pollution accidents caused by leaks from the source.
Core Structure (Break + Seal Double Core, Integrated Forging)
The anti-drip valve features a symmetrical double seat structure. After disconnection, the valve cores on both ends automatically reset for sealing, with no redundant parts. The compact design fits into narrow installation spaces for鹤管. The one-piece model seamlessly integrates with dry joints, while the split model can be connected independently to the鹤管 flange or welding joint. The core components are unified, with only the material and sealing parts differing between the工况 models.
Breakaway Trigger Unit: Overload shear pin / Tension spring (core trigger), positioning lock clip. Rated tension customizable (typically 5-15kN). When the external tension exceeds the rated value, the shear pin breaks / spring unlocks, and the valve automatically disconnects, preventing the transmission of tension to the crane boom arm and causing equipment deformation.
Bidirectional Sealing Unit: Equipped with double valve cores on both sides, spring return structure, and multi-layer sealing elements. The valve cores on both ends quickly return to their original positions upon disconnection, powered by the spring, achieving a leak-proof seal in both the crane pipe and tank car sides. The sealing grade is consistent with that of dry joints, effectively preventing medium leakage.
Medium Conveyance Unit: Full-bore non-restrictive flow channel, smooth inner wall with no dead corners, reducing medium flow resistance, suitable for crane pipe large flow loading and unloading, no medium residue, avoiding scaling and contamination.
Connecting Locking Unit: Both ends with flanges / welding ends / joint interfaces (integral style), standardized connection with鹤管, dry joints / tanker, featuring positioning stoppers to ensure coaxial alignment during installation, with secure locking before disconnection, no looseness or detachment.
Auxiliary Protection Unit: Static Conducting Clip (realizes the static conduction of crane - valve - tank car before disconnection), Dust Cover (seals both ends after disconnection), Reset Clip (quickly locks and resets after repair), Low Temperature version with insulation interface, Corrosion-Resistant version with plastic-lining or fluorine-lining inner sleeve.
