Product Description:
The Slanting Tube Packing, also known as the Hexagonal Honeycomb Slanting Tube Packing, is available in four material types: polypropylene, ethylene propylene copolymer, polyvinyl chloride, and fiberglass. The honeycomb slanting tube is made of modified ethylene propylene copolymer plastic, formed into hexagonal tubes by infrared constant-temperature mechanical drawing, then welded together at high frequency into a single unit, and finally installed.
Honeycomb inclined tubes are primarily used for various sedimentation and sand removal purposes. They have been widely adopted in water supply and drainage projects over the past decade and have become a standard water treatment device. They offer a wide range of applications, high treatment efficiency, and minimal land use. Suitable for sand removal at intake points, sedimentation in industrial and domestic water supplies, wastewater sedimentation, oil separation, and tailings concentration, they are ideal for both new construction projects and the renovation of existing old ponds, yielding excellent results in all cases.
Key Features:
1. Wide wetted perimeter, small hydraulic radius.
2. Good laminar flow; particle settling is not disturbed by turbulence.
3. When the length of the honeycomb inclined tube is 1 meter, the design is based on an effective load of 3-5 tons/square meter, with V0 controlled within the range of 2.5-3.0 mm/second, ensuring excellent effluent water quality.
4. Utilizing inclined tube sedimentation tanks, their treatment capacity is 3-5 times that of the horizontal flow sedimentation tanks, and 2-3 times that of the clarification tanks and pulsating clarification tanks, thereby reducing the land area required.
5. Low sludge volume, reducing the workload for sludge dewatering and subsequent processing; the sludge has good sedimentation properties, which is conducive to the removal of suspended particles in the later stage.
