I. Product Overview:
Disk-type micro-porous aeration devices are a new type of aeration equipment developed in the 1980s. These aeration devices feature small bubble diameter, small gas-liquid interface diameter, large gas-liquid interface area, uniform bubble diffusion, no occurrence of gas pore clogging, and strong corrosion resistance. They have been tested for oxygenation of the Qinghe River wastewater by the School of Environmental Engineering of Tongji University, and have demonstrated excellent performance over many years of use by various customers (more efficient than mixed aeration devices, less prone to clogging than alumina aeration devices, and can increase processing capacity by 40% compared to perforated aeration devices). They are particularly suitable for new and expanded urban wastewater treatment plants and for the renovation of old pools.
II. Structural Features
The disc-type micro-porous aeration disk is designed with a slightly convex arch surface and is made of ABS engineering plastic. The membrane of the disc aeration disk features a specialized imported rubber (EPDM) for anti-adhesion surfaces, which is processed in a special manner. The micro-porous aeration disk's holes are precision-cut using German-imported CNC technology, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the holes. During aeration, the main disk has six air supply channels, allowing the incoming air to be buffered through a check valve and then directly sent to the center, ensuring the membrane opens easily with minimal resistance. The disc aeration disk is assembled with a threaded anti-backlash mechanism to ensure the membrane does not fall off. When intake occurs, the micro-porous membrane on the air distribution surface inflates automatically, ensuring air passage. Upon stopping aeration, the variable micro-pores on the air distribution membrane are in a sealed state, preventing blockages due to the membrane's ability to expand and contract. Additionally, a check valve device is installed on the bottom of the disc micro-porous aeration disk to prevent mixed liquid from entering the air distribution branch when the pipeline system stops supplying gas, thus avoiding blockages. Air entering the disc aeration disk does not require special filtration, and intermittent aeration does not cause blockages. These technical improvements greatly reduce the issues of blowing the air distribution film, membrane jamming, or difficulty in opening the membrane that are commonly found in disc aeration disks, eliminating the need for maintenance over the long term, making the disc aeration disk a reliable product.
Standard-type
One-way check valve, after long-term use, tends to adhere to rubber, causing sewage and sludge to backflow into the pipeline, affecting the lifespan of the fan and uneven aeration. The thread edges are thin and prone to breakage, impacting service life. The aerator connection mouth is flat, with the rubber ring protruding above the surface, making it extremely easy to deform during installation and tightening, leading to air leakage.
