I. Product Overview:
The disk-type micro-porous aeration device is a novel aeration equipment developed in the 1980s. It features small bubble diameter, small gas-liquid interface diameter, large gas-liquid interface area, even bubble diffusion, no clogging of gas holes, and strong corrosion resistance. It has been tested for oxygenation of the Qinghe River wastewater by the Environmental Engineering College of Tongji University, and has been well-received by multiple users over many years (higher utilization rate than the impeller aeration device, less prone to clogging than the alumina aeration device, and increases the processing capacity by 40% compared to the perforated aeration device). It is particularly suitable for new construction and expansion of urban wastewater treatment plants and for the renovation of old ponds in large factories.
II. Structural Features
The disc-type micro-porous aeration diffusers are designed with a slightly convex arched surface, primarily made of ABS engineering plastic. The membrane of the disc aeration diffuser features a special imported rubber (EPDM) with anti-adhesive properties, meticulously processed to ensure the quality and precision of the micro-porous openings. The disc aeration diffuser, during aeration, is equipped with six air supply grooves on the main disc surface, allowing air to pass through the stop-check valve and directly to the center, ensuring the membrane opens with minimal resistance. The disc aeration diffuser uses threaded anti-backlash mechanical assembly to ensure the membrane does not fall off. During intake, the micro-porous membrane naturally inflates, ensuring air passage. When aeration stops, the variable micro-pores on the membrane are sealed, preventing blockage due to the membrane's ability to expand and contract. Additionally, a check valve device is installed on the bottom of the disc micro-porous aeration diffuser to prevent mixed liquid from entering the aeration branch pipes when the pipeline system stops supplying air, thus avoiding blockage. Air entering the disc aeration diffuser does not require special filtration, and intermittent aeration does not cause blockage. These technical improvements significantly reduce the risk of membrane tearing, difficulty in opening the membrane, or membrane blockage, which are common issues with disc aeration diffusers. These reforms eliminate the need for maintenance over the long term, making the disc aeration diffuser a reliable product.
Standard market model
One-way check valve, after long-term use, tends to adhere to rubber, causing wastewater and sludge to backflow into the pipeline, affecting the lifespan of the fan and uneven aeration. The thread edge is thin and prone to breakage, impacting service life. The aeration nozzle is flat, with the rubber seal exposed on the surface. During installation and tightening, the rubber seal is highly susceptible to deformation, leading to air leakage.
