Sow Testing Station Measurement Principle
The Yangzhou Muxin intelligent boar testing system utilizes RFID radio frequency passive electronic ear tags for identification, recognizing the identity of each pig entering the station and dynamically and continuously measuring and recording their feeding process. Each testing station in the system is equipped with a measuring station, which can accommodate 12 to 15 testing pigs. When the testing boars with electronic ear tags enter the feeding station, the station immediately identifies the electronic ear tag number. Based on the ear tag, the station establishes a testing record for each individual. After the feeding process is completed, the system automatically calculates, records, and measures the time of entry and exit from the station, as well as the feeding amount. While the testing boars are feeding, they stand on individual weight scales, which record the weight of the pig during the feeding session. According to the pig's habits, each testing boar enters the feeding station for about 12 to 15 feedings per day, sorted by grade. The system automatically accumulates the feeding amount of each boar for each feeding to form the daily feeding amount, updating the database. The weight data of each boar every day, after computerized summarization and analysis, is used as the daily weight of the testing boar, which serves as the data basis for calculating daily weight gain and feed conversion.
