CXM Series Horizontal Sand Mill

Overview:
The horizontal sand mill is a continuous wet grinding and dispersing equipment, achieving fine processing of solid-liquid phase materials through high-speed collisions, friction, and shearing between grinding media and materials. It is widely suitable for production scenarios with high viscosity and fine particle size requirements and is a core equipment for industries such as coatings, inks, pigments, lithium battery materials, nanomaterials, and new energy fine chemicals.

Primary Structure:
Main Components: Grinding cylinder (carbon steel/stainless steel), main shaft, dispersal disc/screw-type rotor (core grinding component), dynamic medium separator (separates grinding medium from finished product).
Auxiliary System: Includes cooling unit (controls grinding temperature), feeding pump (gear pump/aeromembrane pump), double-end mechanical seal (zero-leakage protection), PLC control system (monitors temperature/pressure/rotational speed).
Grinding Media: Mainly uses zirconium oxide beads (high hardness, wear-resistant, easy to clean), particle size of 0.1~2mm, with a filling rate of about 80% being ideal.

Working Principle:
The solid-liquid phase materials after pretreatment are fed into the grinding drum via a feeding pump.
2. The main shaft drives the dispersal disc to rotate at high speed, imparting kinetic energy to the grinding medium, which results in intense collisions and shearing actions with the material, refining the particles and dispersing aggregates.
3. Processed material is separated through a dynamic separator, continuously discharged through the outlet pipe, with the entire process being enclosed.
4. Advantages: Airtight continuous production, with uniformly sized particles (down to 1 micron or less), and high production efficiency; zero-leakage design to prevent material from drying and scaling or solvents from evaporating; no fixed installation foundation required, easy for disassembly, repair, and maintenance.
5. Features: High energy conversion rate, narrow particle size distribution during nano-grinding; compatible with various materials, adjustable speed and medium parameters to meet different requirements.
