




AXT-S Series Elevating Type Ball Mill
Overview
The Elevating Ball Mill is a wet grinding ultra-fine grinding equipment, primarily used for reducing materials to micron and even nanometer levels. It incorporates an elevating mechanism on top of a traditional ball mill, allowing the grinding drum or stirrer to move up and down for more flexible loading, unloading, cleaning, and maintenance.
The equipment is widely used in: lithium battery materials including cathode materials, anode materials, lithium iron phosphate, ternary materials, titanium dioxide, zirconia, alumina, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, aluminum nitride, inks, coatings, pigments, dyes, etc., particularly suitable for applications that require high grinding efficiency, fine product particle size, and continuous production.
Operating Principle:
1. The core working principle of the lifting type ball mill is the same as that of the ordinary ball mill, but it adds the convenience of operation brought by the lifting function.
2. Grinding Principle (Wet Ultra-Fine Grinding): The grinding drum is filled with grinding media (such as zirconia beads, steel beads, zirconium silicate beads, etc.). Under the high-speed action of the stirrer, the material and the grinding media generate intense collisions, friction, and shearing forces.
3. Under the action of these forces, the material particles are continuously refined until they reach the desired particle size.
4. Blender Function: The搅拌 shaft drives the stirrer bar to rotate at high speed, creating a complex circulation movement between the grinding medium and material. The structural design of the stirrer bar directly impacts the grinding efficiency and energy transfer effect.
5. Hoisting Mechanism Function: Elevates the whole grinding drum or mixing system, facilitating quick unloading, cleaning, or replacement of grinding media and mixing rod heads, reducing labor intensity, and enhancing equipment maintainability and production efficiency.
6. Circulation and Separation System: Materials enter the grinding chamber via a pump or gravity, are ground, and then discharged through a sieve to prevent the grinding medium from escaping with the materials, ensuring product purity.
