Key Features and Applications
The FL Fluidized Bed Granulator utilizes high-speed hot air to suspend the material in a fluidized state, enabling it to be uniformly mixed and dried. The granulator then uses an atomization system to completely atomize the binder within the equipment, where it adheres to the material to form granules.
Primarily used for material drying and granulation in industries such as chemicals and food, including granules for tablet-making, hard capsule filling, granulated Chinese and Western medicine, and solid drinks in beverages (i.e., instant solid granules).
Application:
Granulation and Coating of Medicines. Granulation: Tablet Granules, Powder Granules, Capsule Granules. Coating: Granule Coating,丸剂Protective Coating, Color Retarding, Film, Enteric Coating.
Food granulation and coating. Granulation: sugar, coffee, cocoa powder, cream powder, fruit juice, amino acids, flavorings, expanded snacks, pesticides, pigment colors, dye granules. Drying of powdered, granular, and blocky materials.
Equipment Features:
Integrated mixing, drying, and granulating are all completed within a sealed vacuum container throughout the entire process.
The inner surface of the equipment is smooth with no dead corners, easy to clean, and meets "GMP" requirements.
Stable and reliable performance.

1.2 Process Overview
The equipment consists of a fluidized bed (raw material container), a spray drying chamber, a collection chamber, a lifting system, a base, an atomization system, a heating system, an air filtration system, and an exhaust system. Once the equipment is started, all containers are automatically sealed. Under the suction of the exhaust fan, a certain amount of negative pressure (adjustable) is formed inside the equipment. Due to the negative pressure, the material flows upwards from the fluidized bed to the spray drying chamber. As the spray drying chamber is larger than the fluidized bed, the air flow velocity slows down under the negative pressure, allowing the material to fall naturally once it overcomes the thrust of the negative pressure air flow. When the material falls to a certain height and the thrust of the negative pressure air flow exceeds its own weight, the material moves towards the drying chamber again, thus forming a fluidized state. By adjusting the negative pressure air flow, a good fluidized state of the material is achieved, resulting in the optimal granulation and drying effect.
