Diatomaceous Earth Filter Product Features:
Grade 1 SUS304 stainless steel, meets national OCr18Ni19 hygiene inspection standards. The physical and chemical properties of the stainless steel material are stable, rust-free, and do not contaminate water quality, ensuring clean and hygienic water. High filtration accuracy up to 0.1 NTU, producing clear and transparent filtered water.
·Stainless steel diatomaceous earth filters can remove most impurities and organic matter from water, achieving over 99.99% filtration rate for two parasites (Cryptosporidium and Giardia), thereby reducing the pool's chemical usage.
Short backwashing time, saving water, electricity, and maintenance costs
Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) occupies less land area (about 1/3 of quartz sand filters).
Diatomite filters are among the most refined pool filtering equipment available. The fine diatomite forms a filtration membrane on the filter screen, achieving a filtration accuracy of 2-3 microns, making it ideal for various new-style swimming pools. Generally, diatomite filters can operate normally for two weeks, but when they adsorb enough dirt to affect filtration performance, backwashing is required. The water quality that passes through it is cleaner than that filtered by quartz sand filters. Diatomite is added to a diatomite adding bucket, then pumped into the filter to form the filtration membrane. When backwashing is needed, diatomite powder is blown up and expelled along with the debris. Diatomite powder is not recyclable, and diatomite filter rods must be disassembled and cleaned once every quarter.
