We offer services nationwide, addressing all kinds of electrical safety and explosion-proof fire prevention issues for customers, and contributing to safe production.
Measurement Equipment Control
Instrument control includes calibration, subsequent calibration, and in-service inspection.
What does a calibration report for a combustible gas detector include?
The verification results should be reflected in the verification certificate or report. The verification proof or report must include the following information.
① Title, such as "Calibration Certificate" or "Calibration Report";
② Laboratory Name and Address;
③ Calibration Location (if not calibrated in the laboratory)
④ Certificate or report (e.g., numbered), indicating each page and total number of pages
⑤Shipper's name and address
⑥ Describe and clearly identify the school target.
Calibration Date and Receipt Date
⑧ Technical specifications for calibration base, including name and code;
Description of traceability and effectiveness of the measurement standards used for calibration.
⑩ Description of Calibration Environment
11. Calibration Results and Measurement Uncertainty Statement
12. Signature, title, or equivalent symbol of the issuer of the calibration certificate or report, and the issuance date;
13. Calibration results are only applicable to the verification object.
14. No part of the certificate or report may be copied without written consent from the laboratory.
Re-review interval
Instrument recalibration is typically every 1 year, determined by the submitting unit based on actual usage. During the re-calibration process, if there are any doubts about the instrument's test data, or if the main components of the instrument are replaced, as well as after repairs, a re-calibration is required.
Calibration Method
Appearance and structure
Inspect visually and by touch according to the requirements of 4.1
Branding and Labeling
Inspection to be conducted in accordance with requirement 4.2 by visual means.
Power-on Inspection
Inspect visually and by touch in accordance with requirements 4.3 to check the alarm function and the values of the alarm actions as per 5.3.4.
Introduce a standard substance of gas at a concentration greater than the alarm set point, causing the instrument to trigger an alarm. Observe whether the instrument's audio-visual alarm is functioning normally and record the instrument's reading at the time of alarm. Repeat the measurement three times; the arithmetic mean of the three readings is the instrument's alarm activation value.
Gas Detector Alarms Calibration Specification Requirements
Regulation 5.5 of the "Regulation for Calibration of Combustible Gas Detectors" (JJG693-2011) stipulates: The calibration cycle for combustible gas detection and alarm instruments: Generally, the calibration cycle of the instrument should not exceed one year. If there is any doubt about the instrument's measurement data, or if the instrument has been replaced with major components or repaired, it should be sent for calibration promptly.
Section 3.5 of the "Regulations for the Use of Combustible Gas Detection and Alarm Systems" (SY6503-2000) stipulates: The combustible gas detection and alarm systems in use shall be calibrated regularly in accordance with the regulations.
Occupational Health Service - Code for the Installation of Toxic Gas Devices (GBZ/T223-2009), Article 7.2.1 stipulates: Calibration of detection and alarm devices shall be carried out regularly according to the manufacturer's specified time and procedures.
Section 3.4 of the "Regulations for the Use of Combustible Gas Detectors" (SY6503-2000) stipulates: Combustible gas detectors for installation and use should have measurement instruments manufactured by an institution recognized for their**measurement accuracy** and **explosion-proof performance**.
