Filter cloth for pressure filters is the core filtering component, mainly used as the filtering medium in the solid-liquid separation process. It separates solid particles from liquids through physical interception and adsorption. Pressure filter filter cloths can be categorized by material into polyester, polypropylene, nylon, etc., and by weaving method into monofilament, multifilament, and double-layer weaving, etc. Their characteristics include high filtration accuracy, good air permeability, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, and high tensile strength. They are widely used in applications such as water treatment, chemical industry, food processing, and mining.
During use, pay attention to the cleaning and maintenance of the filter cloth, regularly check for wear and tear, and avoid the filtration effect being compromised due to damaged filter cloth.
Operation steps include:
When installing the filter cloth, ensure it is flat and free of wrinkles.
2. Check the filter cloth tension prior to operation, recommended to be controlled between 0.5-0.7 MPa.
3. Regularly clean the filter cloth; it is recommended to clean it every 8 hours of operation. We currently have belt press filter cloths in stock, which feature high filtration accuracy, corrosion resistance, and high tensile strength, making them suitable for various applications such as water treatment.
