Shenzhen ZhongNuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in the calibration, verification, and measurement services for gas alarms, flammable gas detectors, toxic gas monitors, and other equipment. We are licensed to serve nationwide, providing solutions for electrical safety and explosion-proof fire prevention issues, supporting safe production.
The calibration cycle for flammable gas detectors is typically once a year.
According to the standard JJG 693-2011 "Flammable Gas Detectors," the calibration cycle for flammable gas detectors generally does not exceed 1 year. This means that under normal circumstances, a comprehensive calibration and testing of flammable gas detectors should be conducted annually to ensure their performance meets the relevant requirements.
What are the contents included in the calibration report for flammable gas detectors?
The verification results should be reflected in the verification certificate or report, and the verification proof or report must include the following information.
① Calibration Certificate or Calibration Report
② Laboratory Name and Address
③ Calibration Location (if not calibrated in the laboratory)
④ Standby letter of credit or report (e.g., numbered), with indication of each page and page number;
Please provide the name and address of the shipping entity.
⑥ Describe and clearly define the target school.
Calibration Date and Receipt Date
⑧ Technical specifications for calibration foundation, including name and code;
Description of the traceability and validity of the measurement standards used for calibration.
⑩ Description of calibration environment
11. Calibration Results and Measurement Uncertainty Statement
12. Signature, title or equivalent emblem, and issuance date of the certifier or issuer of the calibration certificate or calibration report;
13. Calibration results are only applicable to the verification object.
14. No part of the certificate or report may be copied without written consent from the laboratory.
Re-review interval
Instrument recalibration is typically every 1 year, determined by the sending unit based on actual usage. During the secondary calibration process, recalibration is required if there are doubts about the instrument's test data, or if the main components of the instrument are replaced, as well as after repairs.
Appearance and structure
The instrument should not have any appearance damage that affects its normal operation. The surface of newly manufactured instruments should be smooth and clean, with even paint and plating, and no peeling or rusting.
The instrument's connections are reliable; all dials or buttons should operate and control normally.
Logos and Branding
Instrument name, model, manufacturer's name, date of manufacture, serial number, explosion-proof markings and numbers, as well as the manufacturing measurement instrument license mark and number for domestic instruments should be clear.
Calibration Method
Appearance and structure
Inspect and feel according to requirements of Section 4.1
Logos and Branding
Observe as per the requirements of Section 4.2.
Power-on inspection
Inspect visually and by touch, checking the 5.3.4 alarm function and alarm action values according to the 4.3 requirements.
Introduce a standard substance of gas with a concentration greater than the alarm set point, causing the instrument to trigger an alarm. Observe whether the instrument's sound and light alarm function normally and record the instrument's reading when it alarms. Repeat the measurement three times, with the arithmetic mean of the three readings being the instrument's alarm trigger value.
Shenzhen Zhongnuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd. is a third-party institution that provides regular verification, measurement, and calibration services for electrical safety, electrical explosion-proofing, gas detectors, and toxic and harmful gas alarm instruments.
