I. Structural Features of External Half-Tube Reactor
The external half-shell reactor is primarily composed of the cylinder, top and bottom heads, external half-shell, agitator, bottom support and transmission unit, shaft seal device, etc. The cylinder and heads are sealed with large flanges or directly welded together. The lower part of the cylinder features a discharge valve and heating tubes. The top head is equipped with an inlet, vacuum, distillation, observation port, temperature measurement, and safety venting process pipe holes. Bracket connection seats are welded on top, where brackets, shaft seals, reducers, and motors are mounted. The external half-shell has openings for oil inlet and outlet, temperature measurement, venting valves, and other pipeline connections. Due to varying production processes and operating conditions among users, there are different requirements for the process holes in the top head, agitator type, support type, and sealing devices. Our company can design according to the customer's specific process requirements. The significant advantages of the external half-shell reactor include fast heating and cooling speeds, high pressure resistance of the half-shell and inner cylinder.
Section 2: Application of External Half Shell Reactor
Reaction vessels are widely used in industries such as unsaturated resins, saturated resins, polyester, acrylic emulsion, epoxy resin, polyurethane, thermoplastic adhesives, TPU, PUR, polyols, oils, and other fine chemicals, paints and inks, adhesives, petrochemicals, and food and beverage. They are mainly used for reactions, polymerization, distillation, and concentration in these industries.
Section 3: Outer Half Shell Reactor Material
Common materials for reaction kettles include carbon steel, 304 stainless steel, 321 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel resistant to strong acids and alkalis, 310S stainless steel for high temperatures, enamel, titanium, and zirconium, etc.
Four. Outside Half Shell Reactor Stirring Method
The mixing types of reaction kettles include oblique blade, anchor, box, propulsion, turbine disk, single (double) helix, and various combined propeller designs. These can be optimized based on the characteristics of the customer's product through advanced mixing software, and we offer the most suitable and efficient propeller types, leveraging our years of production experience.
V. Outer Seamless Tube Reactor Axial Seal Type
The sealing types for reaction kettles include magnetic sealing and mechanical sealing. Our company can provide the appropriate sealing type based on the customer's production process, ensuring satisfactory performance for the user.
