Verification Method
Appearance and structure
Inspect visually and by touch according to the requirements of Section 4.1.
Logos and Branding
Inspect as per requirement 4.2.
Power-on inspection
Inspect visually and by touch in accordance with 4.3 requirements to check the 5.3.4 alarm function and alarm action values.
Introduce a standard gas substance with a concentration greater than the alarm setting point, causing the instrument to trigger an alarm. Observe whether the instrument's sound and light alarm is functioning properly and record the instrument's display value when it alarms. Repeat the measurement three times, with the arithmetic mean of the three readings being the instrument's alarm trigger value.
The calibration cycle for flammable gas detectors is typically once a year.
In accordance with the standard JJG 693-2011 "Flammable Gas Detectors," the calibration period for flammable gas alarms generally does not exceed one year. This means that under normal circumstances, a comprehensive calibration and testing of the flammable gas alarms should be conducted annually to ensure their performance meets the relevant requirements.
What information is included in the calibration report for flammable gas detectors?
The verification results should be reflected on the verification certificate or report, and the verification proof or report must include the following information.
① Calibration Certificate or Calibration Report
② Laboratory Name and Address;
③ Calibration Location (if not calibrated in the laboratory)
④ Standby letter of credit or report (e.g., numbered), indicating each page and page number;
5. Shipper's name and address
⑥ Describe and clearly identify the target school.
Calibration date and receipt date;
⑧ Technical specifications for calibration base, including name and code;
Description of the traceability and validity of the measurement standards used for calibration.
⑩ Description of calibration environment
11. Calibration Results and Measurement Uncertainty Statements
12. Signature, title, or equivalent symbol of the issuer of the calibration certificate or report, and the issuance date;
13. Calibration results are only applicable to the verification object.
14. No part of the certificate or report may be copied without written consent from the laboratory.
Re-proofreading interval
Instrument recalibration is typically every 1 year, determined by the submitting unit based on actual usage. During the secondary calibration process, if there are doubts about the instrument's test data, or if the main components of the instrument are replaced, or if recalibration is needed after repairs.
The principle of instrument detection mainly includes catalytic combustion, infrared absorption, and thermal conductive types. The sampling methods are diffusion and aspiration. The instruments are mainly composed of detection elements, amplifying circuits, alarm systems, and displays, used for monitoring the concentration of combustible gases in the environment.
