ATEX or IECEx certificates differ from domestic explosion-proof certificates (both the domestic explosion-proof certificate and the explosion-proof CCC certificate have a validity period of 5 years).
The certificate does not state an expiration date. Does that imply it's valid indefinitely?
ATEX certificates do not have an expiration date. ATEX certification involves a combination of product testing and factory inspections.
The validity of the certificate is maintained after each factory audit passes.
If the factory audit isn't conducted on time, the certificate becomes invalid. If the certification standards are updated and the certificate isn't renewed, it will also become invalid.
