What requirements do enterprises need to meet after converting explosion-proof electrical products to mandatory product certification (CCC certification)?
ZhongNuo Inspection: Mandatory Product Certification, also known as CCC Certification, involves a certification model that includes Type Testing + Initial Factory Inspection + Post-Certification Supervision. In simpler terms, it requires a factory audit. Applicant companies must have the capability for production/inspection/shipping (or OEM/ODM).
Is explosion-proof product certification the same as CCC certification? — An Answer from Shenzhen ZhongNuo Inspection & Testing Technology Co., Ltd.
Explosion-proof product certification typically refers to the safety certification required for explosion-proof products to enter the market, commonly known as explosion-proof certification. The certificate issued is called the Explosion-proof Compliance Certificate.
CCC Certification, which stands for "China Compulsory Certification," is abbreviated as CCC.
The CCC certification mark is denoted as "CCC," which is a product certification system established by the Certification and Supervision Commission in accordance with the "Regulations for Compulsory Product Certification" (Order No. 5 of the China Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine Commission).
As of October 1, 2019, explosion-proof electrical equipment was officially included in the scope of mandatory product certification under market supervision.
Means that some explosion-proof electrical equipment must be compulsorily applied for a 3C certification to enter the market and be circulated.
Some explosion-proof products are included in the CCC certification scope.
But explosion-proof product certification is not the same as CCC certification.
Only products within the防爆 CCC certification catalog need to apply for the CCC certification.
Explosion-proof products outside the catalog only require an explosion-proof certificate.
Sample requirements for applying for the explosion-proof CCC certification:
The sample machines submitted by the company for inspection should match the approved drawings and be fully assembled; the number of units inspected should meet the requirements.
If special disassembly tools are required, they should be sent along as well.
For potting-type electrical equipment, a set of both potted and unpotted products should be submitted.
The transparent pieces for the observation window should be sent separately with at least 3, but no more than 5.
The transparent parts of the lighting fixtures should be separately sent in 8 pieces, with at least 5 pieces.
Rubber aging tests should provide 3 to 5 pieces of 35156 rubber blocks.
Two plastic sheets with a diameter of 150-60mm are required for the insulation resistance test of the plastic shell. If the size permits, the test can be directly conducted on the plastic shell.
1-2 finished products are generally required.
