Thermogravimetric analysis (TG) is synchronized with differential thermal analysis (DTA) or differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in a simultaneous thermal analysis, allowing the acquisition of both thermogravimetric and differential thermal information from the same sample in a single measurement.
Compared to individual TG and/or DSC tests, it offers the following significant advantages:
1. One measurement provides both quality change and thermal effect information, offering convenience, time-saving, and is particularly beneficial for expensive or difficult-to-obtain samples, as it requires less of them.
2. Eliminate factors such as weight measurement, sample uniformity, consistency in heating rate, and differences in atmosphere pressure and flow, resulting in a better correspondence between TG and DTA/DSC curves.
3. Determining whether a thermal effect corresponds to a change in mass helps distinguish the corresponding physical and chemical process (such as distinguishing melting peaks, crystallization peaks, phase transition peaks, decomposition peaks, and oxidation peaks, etc.).
4. Real-time tracking of sample quality changes with temperature/time allows for using the current actual mass of the sample (not the original mass before measurement) when calculating enthalpy, which is beneficial for accurately calculating phase change heat, reaction heat, etc.
Product Features
The furnace heating utilizes a double-row winding of precious metal nickel-chromium alloy wire, reducing interference and enhancing resistance to high temperatures.
2. Tray sensor, precision-engineered from noble metal nickel-chromium alloy, featuring high-temperature resistance, anti-oxidation, and corrosion resistance.
3. Power supply, cooling circuit, and main unit are separated to minimize the impact of heat and vibration on the micro-thermal balance.
4. Features an easy-to-use top-opening lid structure. Moving the furnace body to place the sample is difficult and prone to damaging the sample rod.
5. The main unit is equipped with a water-temperature-regulating device to isolate the heat impact from the heating furnace on the housing and the micro-thermometer balance.
6. Utilizes a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor core for faster sampling and processing speeds.
7. 24-bit four-channel sampling AD collects DSC signals, TG signals, and temperature T signals.
8. The furnace body can be replaced according to customer requirements.
