In accordance with the relevant provisions of the current standard "Code for Design of Grounding for AC Electrical Installations" GB/T50065, the following parts that do not require grounding should still be grounded in explosive environments:
1) Equipment with normal non-electrified metal enclosures, where the alternating current rated voltage is below 1000V and the direct current rated voltage is below 1500V, in poor conductive ground areas.
2) Equipment with a rated AC voltage of 127V or less and a DC voltage of 110V or less, in a dry environment, generally has a non-electrified metal casing.
3) Equipment installed on a grounded metal structure.
(2) In explosive hazardous environments, exposed conductive parts of equipment should be reliably grounded. All equipment within explosive zones 0, 20, and 21, and other equipment (except for lighting fixtures) within explosive zones 2 and 22, should use dedicated grounding cables. If the grounding cable is installed in the same protective conduit as the phase wire, it should have insulation equal to that of the phase wire. Lighting fixtures within explosive zones 2 and 22 can use a metal piping system with reliable electrical connections as a grounding cable, but not the pipelines conveying materials.
(3) In different directions of the slope in the explosive hazard area, the grounding main should be connected to the grounding body at least twice.

Production facilities for precision instruments and equipment necessitate stable temperature and humidity, as well as cleanliness; while workshops with heat or dust require effective ventilation and dust removal systems. Basic technical measures for explosion-proof in factory building design
(1) For factories (such as plants) where the entire site poses an explosion hazard, the overall planning and design should consider factors like the production processes, product types, production characteristics, and level of danger of hazardous materials within the buildings. After determining the risk level of the buildings, zoning planning should be carried out. The distance between buildings within the hazardous material production area and surrounding villages, highways, railways, towns, and the factory's living facilities should be calculated based on the risk level of the buildings and the quantity of stored materials, and the larger value should be taken according to regulations. When the required distances cannot be met due to site limitations, protective barriers must be established, such as using protective embankments or reinforced concrete walls. Protective barriers are mandatory for Class A buildings. The layout should be tailored to the specific conditions and fully utilize the terrain and地貌 to achieve an optimal and reasonable arrangement.
(2) For buildings and workshops within general industrial zones that produce and utilize products, they should be ideally located in the same area to facilitate centralized management. (5) Within the factory, workshops with high and low risks should be separated by sturdy fire-resistant walls (brick or reinforced concrete walls). It is advisable to open doors on the exterior walls for inter-workshop communication using corridors or balconies; or create a double-door vestibule on the fire-resistant wall, positioning the doors as staggered as possible to mitigate the impact of explosion shockwaves and limit the scope of the explosion's effects.
(6) For equipment prone to explosion, it should be placed as close to the exterior wall or windows as possible, or outdoors, to minimize its destructive force.
(7) Production and storage of hazardous materials of different nature should be separated, such as those that must be kept apart from oxygen.
(8) Do not locate explosive hazard areas in basements or semi-basements due to poor ventilation, which can greatly impact accidents and is不利 for evacuation and rescue efforts.

Installation methods for electrical wiring in explosive gas environments can be categorized into cable wiring and conduit wiring methods.
Note: The installation of intrinsic safety circuits is not required to follow the provisions of this article.
7.1 General Provisions
7.2 Electrical wiring should be installed in areas with low explosion hazard or at a greater distance from the source of release, avoiding locations prone to mechanical damage, vibration, corrosion, dust accumulation, and those with dangerous temperatures. When avoidance is not possible, preventive measures should be taken.
7.3 The selected low-voltage cables or insulated conductors must have a rated voltage higher than the working voltage of the line, and not less than 500V. Insulated conductors must be laid inside conduits.
7.4 Prohibition of overhead lines rated 10kV and below crossing explosive gas environments; the horizontal distance between the overhead line and the explosive gas environment should not be less than 1.1 times the height of the pole tower.
7.5 Cables and their accessories should be installed in such a position that they are protected from external mechanical damage, corrosion, or chemical influences (such as the effects of solvents), as well as from the effects of high temperatures (also see 6.1.2.4.4 for this safety circuit). If such conditions cannot be avoided, protective measures should be taken during installation, such as using conduits or selecting the cable type (armored cables, shielded wires, seamless aluminum sheathed cables, mineral insulated metal sheathed cables, or semi-rigid sheathed cables, etc., can be used to minimize damage).
7.6 Single-core wires without sheath should not be used for conductive wiring unless they are installed within a distribution board, enclosure, or conduit system.
