ZA Series Petroleum & Chemical Process Pumps

ZA Series Product Introduction
The ZA type chemical process pump is a single-stage, horizontal radial volute pump featuring a foot-supported pump body, single-suction radial impeller, axial suction, and radial discharge. It achieves hydraulic balance with front and rear wear rings and balancing holes. The stuffing box is equipped with cooling or heating pipe connections. The shaft seal can be optional with packing or single/dual face mechanical seal, and it comes with a cooling, flushing, or sealing system. This pump is suitable for conveying neutral or corrosive, clean or particulate-laden, low or high-temperature liquid mediums. The working pressure can reach up to 2.5 Mpa, and the working medium temperature range is from -70℃ to 180℃.
This type of chemical process utilizes standard piping designed according to API specifications. The impeller is available in three types: closed, semi-open, and open. It can transport clean, granular, and medium containing a small amount of gas. It is also capable of conveying high-temperature, low-temperature, and strongly corrosive media. The impeller features balancing holes and corrosion-resistant rings to counterbalance axial forces. The pump housing and bearing frame are connected by an intermediate connecting section. Depending on different operating conditions, the intermediate connecting section can be made of different materials to prevent severe corrosion of the bearing frame and bearings when transporting strongly corrosive media. Additionally, the intermediate connecting section is equipped with a water-cooling chamber, which circulates cooling water to prevent high-temperature media from transferring heat to the bearings. The sealing can be achieved using packed gland, single or double-end mechanical seals, or integrated single-end mechanical seals. Based on different situations and user requirements for cooling and flushing, the seals can be selected from the case according to API 682 design specifications. The bearing frame design includes three forms: air-cooled finned heat sinks, air-cooled fans, and water-cooled chambers, allowing users to select according to the operating conditions. The bearings are lubricated by splash oil from the oil ring in the oil tank. The oil in the oil tank is cooled by the water in the water-cooling chamber, and the heat in the bearings is carried away by the cold water to ensure the bearings are always in normal working condition. Depending on the medium temperature and pressure, the support is designed with central support and pedestal support. The rated pressure grades of the suction and discharge flanges are the same.
