Anti-static Agent SN
Chemical CompositionOctadecyl dimethyl hydroxyethyl quaternary ammonium nitrate salt
CategoryTypeCationic
Technical Specifications
Appearance: Red-brown transparent viscous liquid (25℃)
pH Value: 6.0~8.0 (1% water solution, 20°C)
Quaternary Ammonium Salt Content: 55% ~ 60%
Product Performance
1. A cationic surfactant, readily soluble in water and acetone, butanol, benzene, chloroform, dimethyl acetamide, dioxane, ethylene glycol, methyl (ethyl or butyl), cellulose solvent, and acetic acid and water at room temperature. It dissolves in carbon tetrachloride, dichloroethane, and styrene at 50°C.
2. Stable against 5% dilute acid and alkali; decomposes above 180°C.
3. Compatible with cationic and non-ionic surfactants for mixed use, but not recommended to be used with anionic surfactants in the same bath.
Product Applications
1. Static elimination for spinning of synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, and chlorinated polyethylene, with excellent antistatic properties. Antistatic Agent SN can be used alone or mixed with non-ionic surfactant oils and emulsifiers to form a water solution. The fiber bundle can be passed through this emulsion to eliminate static electricity, with the typical dosage being 0.2~0.5% of the fiber weight.
2. Suitable as a leveling agent for polypropylene nitrile.
3. Static eliminator for plastic industry, suitable for polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene film, and plastic products. Dissolve the antistatic agent SN in an appropriate solvent, mix with a small amount of plastic powder, dry, and then add this material to the entire batch of plastic powder. Process as usual, with a general recommended dosage of 0.5~2% of the plastic weight.
4. Static eliminator used for the production of spindling roller in nitrile rubber.
5. Silk Static Remover.
6. Polyester artificial silk fabric alkali reduction accelerator.
7. Asphalt Emulsifier
