Penetrating Agent JFC-1
Chemical CompositionAlkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether
Category:TypeNon-Ionic
【HLB Value11.5~12.5 (Theoretical Value)
Technical Specifications
Appearance: Micro-yellow to colorless, viscous liquid (as observed at 25°C)
pH Value: 5.0~7.0 (1% aqueous solution)
Cloud Point: 40~50℃ (1% water solution)
Penetration Force: ≤60 seconds (0.1% water solution), ≥100% of standard product (JFC)
【Performance and Features】
1. Easily soluble in water, with excellent permeability; above the cloud point, it does not affect permeability.
2. Used as an penetrant in the textile industry, suitable for sizing, desizing, scouring, bleaching, carbonization, and other processes. Can serve as an assistive penetrant in dyeing and finishing baths.
3. Used as an infiltrant in the leather industry and also as a degreaser.
4. Offers strong wool washing capabilities, easily removes various oil stains, and feels soft.
Should[Used]
1. Penetration: Suitable for all processes such as textile, dyeing, and finishing where anionic penetrants cannot be used. This assistant is typically used at a dosage of 1~5g/L.
2. Desizing: When using biological enzymes (starch sizing) for desizing, adding JFC can accelerate the process, with a general dosage of about 0.1% of the liquid weight.
3. Fiber Refining: During the refining process of acetate fiber and other composite fibers, adding 2-5g/L of JFC and 5g/L of sodium chloride to the refining solution can enhance the refining effect.
4. Wool Clean Wash: The penetrant JFC possesses the ability to wash wool without leaving residues on the fibers, ensuring no yellowing or defects. The fibers feel soft to the touch. This penetrant can be used in neutral, alkaline, or acidic environments and can be blended with soap in hard water or used alone. The optimal temperature for use is between 40-50°C.
5. Wool Carbonization: During wool carbonization, an渗透剂JFC of 0.5~1g/L can be added to shorten the carbonization time, reduce acid content, and enhance the carbonization effect.
