By utilizing the seismic multi-reflection method, seismic waves generated from the seismic source propagate to interfaces with wave impedance differences (i.e., geological anomaly interfaces, stratigraphic layers, and joint surfaces), where they are reflected. After receiving these reflected waves, data processing is conducted to obtain structural and lithological interpretations of the interfaces.
