Currently, there were 24 notified bodies involved in the ATEX directive.

Can IECEx certification be converted to a domestic explosion-proof certification?
As IEC member countries, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, among others, have accepted the IECEx explosion-proof certification certificate.
Products with IECEx explosion-proof certification are exempt from applying for the country's explosion-proof certification for these exports.
China, also an IEC member, but explosion-proof products in China require an application for a Chinese explosion-proof certification or coal mine safety certification.
This cannot be directly substituted with IECEx.
