When selecting rope clamps, the inner distance of the U-bolt should be about 1~3mm larger than the wire rope diameter. An excessive inner distance can cause the buckle to not securely clamp the wire rope, leading to slippage and potential accidents.

3. The U-section should contact the rope end, not be reversed with the main rope; rope clamps should be installed in a single line and evenly spaced.

To facilitate the inspection of whether the rope clamp joint is securely installed or to promptly detect any slippage at the wire rope joint, it is generally advisable to add an additional rope clamp approximately 500mm behind the next one and leave the wire rope end with a "secure bend." If the wire rope joint slips, the "secure bend" will visibly straighten, at which point immediate corrective action should be taken.
