Tumble Dryer
I. Overview
Tumble dryers are primarily used for drying granular materials within a certain moisture and particle size range, such as yellow sand used in the dry mortar industry, various molding sands for the foundry industry, blast furnace slag for the building materials and cement industry, fine clay, and small particle materials used in the chemical industry that do not undergo chemical changes, are not afraid of high temperatures, and are not contaminated by dust and smoke. Depending on the industry's requirements for the final moisture content of the dried material, the moisture content of the dried material can reach below 1-0.5%.
Material entering the dryer should be non-stick to the drum walls and distributor plates. The inner drum and distributor plates at the entrance of the dryer can be made of heat-resistant steel plates.
