I. Overview
Tumble dryers are primarily used for drying particles within a certain moisture and particle size range, such as yellow sand used in the dry powder mortar industry, various molding sands for the foundry industry, blast furnace slag for the building materials and cement industry, fine-grained clay, and small particles used in the chemical industry that do not undergo chemical changes, are not afraid of high temperatures, and are not contaminated by dust and smoke. Depending on the industry's requirements for the final moisture content of the dried material, the moisture content of the dried material can reach below 1-0.5%.
The material entering the dryer should be non-stick to the cylinder wall and the feeding plate. The inner cylinder and feeding plate at the entrance of the dryer can be made of heat-resistant steel plate.
