Therefore, when using a centrifuge, the following operations must be observed:
(1) The bottom of the centrifuge tube should be padded with cotton or a tube pad.
(2) If a centrifuge emits noise or vibrates, the power should be immediately disconnected, and the fault should be addressed promptly.
(3) Centrifuge tubes must be symmetrically placed in the sleeve to prevent vibration of the body. If only one sample tube is available, the other should be replaced with an equal mass of water.
(4) When starting the centrifuge, the top cover should be closed before slowly initiating the machine.
(5) After separation is complete, first turn off the centrifuge. Only after the centrifuge has stopped spinning can you open the centrifuge lid to retrieve the sample. Do not force it to stop with external force.
(6) Centrifugation time is generally 1 to 2 minutes; during this period, the experimenter must not leave to do other tasks.
