I. Product Introduction
PC Air Foam Generator, also known as PC Air Foam Producer, is a fixed fire-fighting equipment installed on oil tanks to produce and spray air foam. When the foam mixture flow supplied by a fixed fire pump of a foam fire truck passes through the generator via the conveying pipeline, it forms air foam to extinguish oil fires.
II. Performance Parameters
Generally, there are four models: PC-4, PC-8, PC-16, and PC-24. Specific specifications are as follows:
1. Technical specifications are as follows:
① Model PC-4: At working pressure of 0.5MPa, the mixed fluid flow rate is 4 liters/second, and the foam generation volume is 25 liters.
Model PC-8: At a working pressure of 0.5MPa, the mixed fluid flow rate is 8 liters/second, with a foam generation volume of 50 liters.
③ Model PC-16: At a working pressure of 0.5 MPa, the mixed fluid rate is 16 liters/second, and the foam generation is 100 liters.
④ Model PC-24: When the working pressure is 0.5MPa, the mixed fluid is 24 liters/second, and the foam generation is 150 liters.
2. Operating pressure range: 0.2-0.5 MPa.
3. The glass sheet is broken under a pressure of 0.1-0.2 MPa.
Section 3: Structural Principle
The PC type air foam generator is mainly composed of three parts: the housing assembly, the foam nozzle assembly, and the guide plate assembly.
As the foam mixture flows through the nozzle of the generator, it forms a diffused atomized jet, creating a vacuum around it that draws in a large amount of air to form an air-foam. This air-foam is then introduced into the storage tank via the foam nozzle and baffles, trickling down along the tank wall and smoothly covering the surface of the burning liquid.

Section 4: Instructions for Use
1. The PC type air foam generator is imported with a standard working pressure of 0.5Mpa, and it can also be used within the pressure range of 0.3-0.5Mpa, with the mixing and foam volumes accordingly changing.
2. The pump must be equipped with PH32 and PH64 type air foam mixers to proportionally deliver air foam liquid.
3. This generator is equipped with 3% and 6% standard air foam liquids.
4. To prevent the evaporation of gases from the flammable liquid storage tank, a sealed glass must be installed at the outlet end of the shell. One side of the glass is etched with a fragile crack, which can be shattered when the pressure of the mixed liquid flow is between 0.1 and 0.2 Mpa. The side with the fragile crack should face the nozzle outlet.
5. The guide plate is installed on the inner wall of the storage tank to ensure that the foam flows down smoothly and covers the fuel surface evenly, thereby enhancing the fire extinguishing effect.
6. The inlet diameter of the PC type air foam generator must not be smaller than the size specified by D.
