Drip angle:
A contact angle is defined as the angle formed by the two tangents at the gas-liquid and solid-liquid interfaces of a small droplet of liquid placed on a solid horizontal surface, which enclose the liquid phase. The water drop angle refers to the contact angle value when the droplet is a water droplet. A water drop angle gauge is specifically designed to measure the contact angle of a water droplet on a solid surface. It must meet high precision testing requirements and be able to judge the surface tension of the water droplet or the interface tension, thus requiring a high-precision water drop surface tension testing function. In other words, the water drop angle gauge must incorporate the Young-Laplace equation fitting algorithm in its testing software. The algorithm used in the fitting of the Young-Laplace equation is the ADSA-RealDrop algorithm. During water drop angle measurement, the gauge must have an opaque shield and a UV filter lens. These are essential for ensuring the precision and repeatability of the measurements.
The SL200K series is an automatic interfacial chemical measurement system, including a grade video optical contact angle meter and interfacial tension measurement instrument. It is used for testing contact angle and interfacial tension values, and is developed based on the standard image analysis principle with the experience of Cono Corporation. The modular design concept offers clients up to tens of thousands of different combinations, making it an instrument suitable for interfacial chemical research and high precision control requirements. The entire instrument consists of a precise optical mechanical structure, optical imaging system, precise titration system, and CAST™2.0 interfacial chemical analysis software. It is capable of testing dynamic and static contact angles, solid surface free energy and its distribution (dispersive force, polar force, hydrogen bonding force), liquid-gas and liquid-liquid interfacial tension values (pendant drop), and liquid interfacial viscoelastic index (oscillating drop). We provide our clients with high-performance, reasonably priced instruments, as well as specialized pendant drop and interfacial tension measurement products, hoping to offer technical support for their research and quality control.
