Product Overview
The SMC Sheet Molding Compound Production Line is a specialized machine for manufacturing Sheet Molding Compound (SMC). SMC is a fiber-reinforced thermosetting composite material, composed of resins (such as unsaturated polyester), glass fibers, fillers, and additives, offering high strength, lightweight, corrosion resistance, and is widely used in the automotive, electrical, construction, and rail transit industries.
Equipment Composition
The SMC sheet material production line is mainly composed of the following systems:
- Resin Paste Preparation System: High-precision measurement and mixing of resin, filler, hardener, and other raw materials.
- Fiber Cutting and Sedimentation System: Trims continuous glass fiber to a fixed length and evenly distributes it in the resin slurry.
- Dipping and Compaction System: Rolled to thoroughly impregnate fibers with resin, forming dense sheet material.
- Film Lamination and Coiling System: Utilizes PE film to cover the surface of sheet materials to prevent oxidation, and automatically coils them into rolls.
- Control System: PLC automated control for parameter adjustment, fault alarms, and production data recording.
