Product Overview
The SMC Sheet Molding Compound Production Line is a specialized equipment for manufacturing Sheet Molding Compound (SMC). SMC is a fiber-reinforced thermosetting composite material, composed of resin (such as unsaturated polyester), glass fiber, filler, and additives. It boasts high strength, lightweight, corrosion resistance, and is widely used in the automotive, power, construction, and rail transit industries.
Equipment composition
The SMC sheet material production line is mainly composed of the following systems:
- Resin Paste Preparation System: High-accuracy measurement and mixing of resin, filler, hardener, and other raw materials.
- Fiber Cutting and Sedimentation System: Cuts continuous glass fibers to a fixed length and evenly disperses them in the resin slurry.
