Product Overview
The SMC Sheet Molding Compound Production Line is a professional machine used for manufacturing Sheet Molding Compound (SMC). SMC is a fiber-reinforced thermosetting composite material, composed of resins (such as unsaturated polyester), glass fibers, fillers, and additives. It boasts high strength, lightweight, and corrosion resistance, and is widely used in the automotive, electrical, construction, and rail transit industries.
Equipment Composition
The SMC sheet material production line is mainly composed of the following systems:
- Resin Paste Preparation System: High-precision measurement and mixing of resin, filler, hardener, and other raw materials.
- Fiber Cutting and Sedimentation System: Cuts continuous glass fibers to a fixed length and evenly disperses them in the resin slurry.
- Dipping and Compaction System: The system thoroughly wets the fibers with resin through roller pressing, forming dense sheet material.
- Coating and Rewinding System: Utilizes PE film to cover the sheet material surface to prevent oxidation, and automatically rewind into rolls.
- Control System: PLC automated control for parameter adjustment, fault alarm, and production data recording.
