DLC coating, also known as diamond-like carbon coating, is an amorphous, metastable material composed of carbon elements. It shares properties similar to diamonds while also having a structure composed of graphite atoms. Diamond-like carbon (DLC) films are amorphous coatings that combine high hardness and low friction coefficients with excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance. They are widely used in applications such as automated parts plastic molds, medical devices, and semiconductor C-package molds. The coating color is primarily gray-black, with a hardness of 2200-4000HV, a friction coefficient of 0.04-0.1, and a working temperature range of 80-250 degrees Celsius during coating.
