The WCC coating is a tungsten-hydrogen amorphous carbon (a-C:H:W) DLC coating. Compared to other elements, this W-DLC coating has a lower hardness (typically around 0.1~0.2 in dry conditions), thus offering superior wear resistance and excellent resistance to rotational contact fatigue. The W-DLC coatings produced by Nalor are deposited at a typical temperature below 160°C, allowing the coating process to be completed without softening heat-sensitive steels (such as 100Cr6).
