Roof Deformation Joint Structure
Roof expansion joints are categorized based on structure and the expansion function of the joints, and can be divided into: metal cover plate type roof expansion joint; seismic type roof expansion joint; rubber type roof expansion joint.
Roof deformation joint function
The roof expansion joint, in addition to the standard expansion function, serves a vital role. Its functionality is achieved through three components:
1. Metal cover plates for roof expansion joints, featuring flanges on both sides, effectively prevent rainwater from seeping into the expansion joints. 2. A black rubber waterstop is located beneath, which guides any incoming water to the drainage outlet, preventing direct leakage and offering secondary protection. 3. The aluminum alloy base provides strong support for the sliding rod and cover plate, and the flanged aluminum alloy base enhances the product's performance.
