The thin sheet mold is primarily used as an auxiliary tool for preparing standard test strips before tensile tests on materials like rubber and plastic, commonly paired with flat vulcanizing machines or other injection molding equipment. It features a mold cavity size of 120*140*2mm, capable of producing two test strips per pressing, with a dual-cavity design. Additionally, molds of various sizes can be customized to meet specific requirements.
Sheet Test Molding Basics:
Due to the specification in GB528 that the thickness of the dumbbell test piece is 2±0.2mm and the mold cavity thickness is 2mm, but the produced test pieces are not within the tolerance range. What could be the cause? The primary reason is the rubber material and density; for instance, if the produced thin sheet thickness is 2±0.3mm, the solution is to adjust the thickness directly during the mold processing to 1.8mm or 1.9mm.
