I. Overview
Characteristics and Applications: Used to measure the melt flow rate of various high polymers in the melt flow state. It indicates the mass or volume of melt passing through a standard die every 10 minutes under specific temperature and load conditions, represented by MFR (Melt Flow Rate) or MVR (Melt Volume Rate). It is suitable for testing engineering plastics with high melting temperatures such as polycarbonate, polysulfone, fluoroplastics, nylon, as well as plastics with lower melting temperatures like polyethylene, polybutylene, polypropylene, ABS resin, and polyformaldehyde resin. Widely used in plastic production, plastic products, petrochemical industries, and related educational institutions, research units, and inspection and quarantine departments. Complies with the requirements of GB/T 3682 "Determination of Melt Mass Flow Rate and Melt Volume Flow Rate of Thermoplastic Plastics" and ISO 1133 standards.
