I. Product Introduction

Graphite tower top condensers are specialized equipment for waste gas cooling and gas recovery, widely used in industries such as chemicals, metallurgy, power, and petrochemicals. They are primarily used to cool and condense gases emitted from the tower top, particularly suitable for condensing high-temperature, highly corrosive gases. Made with graphite as the main structural material, these condensers leverage their excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature tolerance, and good thermal conductivity to effectively process waste gases and hot gases from chemical reaction processes, ensuring the stability and safety of the gas purification process.

The working principle of the graphite tower top condenser is that after the gas is discharged from the top of the tower, it enters the condenser where it undergoes heat exchange with the cooling medium (such as water or liquid coolant) inside the graphite condenser tubes. The cooling medium flows outside the tower top condenser and reduces the gas temperature through heat exchange. When the gas temperature drops below the dew point, some components of the gas condense into a liquid, completing the gas condensation process. The condensed liquid is then discharged, while the purified gas is expelled from the equipment's outlet.

Graphite tower top condensers utilize graphite tube bundles or graphite plates as heat transfer mediums, which have high thermal conductivity, allowing the equipment to efficiently cool gases. Due to graphite's high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, it can operate stably for extended periods under extreme conditions, particularly suitable for treating corrosive gases such as acidic gases. The equipment's structural design includes the condenser body, graphite condenser tubes, gas inlet, coolant inlet and outlet, and drainage system.
